At Dehesa el Carril we have more than 50 years of business and family experience in raising select Iberian pigs in the beautiful lands of southwestern Extremadura and Portugal. This provides us with the prestigious Black Label: Iberian hams and more products certified for their purity.

Black label: hams raised from the cradle

Our cattle are fed and raised in the wild in the middle of nature, with the abundant acorns of the montanera and the aromatic fresh grass of the pasture.

In a landscape dotted with holm oaks and cork oaks, with a unique climate and a distance from the sea that make it a privileged place to make the best Black Label. Acorn-fed 100% Iberian hams exceptional in quality, aroma and flavor, noble pieces that are cured in an artisanal and traditional way.


To guarantee the highest quality and uniformity of our brand, as well as the satisfaction of the most demanding palates, for more than five decades we have taken care of the birth and breeding of our Iberian pig herd with care and dedication, controlling from start to finish all the steps of a long and laborious process that will culminate in our limited production of Black label: 100% Iberian Acorn-fed Hams, shoulders and loins.
